While the transcriptions, based upon the handwritten or typed material and encoded as [[wikipedia:XML|XML]] accorgin to the [[wikipedia:Text Encoding Initiative|TEI guidelines]], were originally published as part of the CD-based Bergen Electronic Edition, the IDP allows anyone who has an Internet connection to display the text of Wittgenstein's writings while dynamically selecting what information display. | |||
